Bandai Namco and Dimps have officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Steam. The game, previously teased as Project AGE 1000, brings players to a brand-new future timeline with original characters designed by Akira Toriyama.
This is the part nobody's talking about enough: Xenoverse 3 finally moves beyond repeating old Z arcs. It drops you into AGE 1000, a fresh era with West City as a lively hub and the Great Saiyan Squad at the center of the story.
Unlike past entries, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 features an original story set far in the future. West City serves as a bustling central location full of activity, NPCs, and story developments. Players create their own hero and join the Great Saiyan Squad for team-based missions and progression.
The Xenoverse 3 trailer already shows a more detailed, lived-in world with nods to classic moments reimagined for this new timeline.

Akira Toriyama contributed key original character designs for AGE 1000. Fans are already speculating about an older Bulma with a unique halo design and new faces like the one quickly nicknamed "Brett".
